The Williston Police Department recently collaborated with the Northwest Narcotics Task Force to carry out a search warrant in an apartment located in the South Ridge Apartment complex.

Following the execution of the search warrant, the NWNTF confiscated several suspected illicit substances, including 480 grams (equivalent to 4,320 pills) of fentanyl pills, 105 grams of cocaine, 705 grams of methamphetamine, 645 grams of marijuana, and 122 packs of THC edibles. Additionally, four firearms were found during the search, bringing the total estimated street value of the seized items to approximately $350,000.

The operation resulted in the arrest of Richard Lloyd, who was charged with several offenses related to drug possession and intent to distribute. Specifically, Lloyd was charged with possession of marijuana and THC with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of four firearms, and possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl with intent to distribute in excess of 50 grams, which are all classified as felony offenses with maximum prison sentences ranging from five to twenty years, as well as fines of up to $20,000.

The NWNTF is continuing its investigation and pursuing further charges against other individuals involved in the case. The NWNTF is responsible for handling the investigation, and the WPD provided support in executing the search warrant.
