Hunting and fishing are more than just pastimes in North Dakota—they are a way of life. From early mornings in the deer stand to evenings spent along a quiet stretch of riverbank, outdoor recreation plays a major role in the state’s culture, economy, and community identity. As seasons change and wildlife management decisions are made, residents are once again being invited to take part in that process.

These meetings are designed to give citizens a chance to speak directly with district advisors and agency personnel about fish and wildlife issues that matter most to them. Whether it’s concerns about habitat, hunting regulations, fishing access, or wildlife populations, the forums provide an open space for discussion and feedback.
