Williston Basin International Airport did not have its full schedule of flights on Monday, with more scheduled cancellations set to take place over the upcoming days.

The cancellation on Monday is part of the ongoing federal government shutdown, which continues to affect air travel across the country.

According to the airport, the Federal Aviation Administration’s recent decision to reduce air traffic by 10% has led to schedule disruptions nationwide, including at Williston.

The following flights were listed as canceled:

Delta Air Lines Flight 4261 to and from Minneapolis–Saint Paul on November 10;

United Airlines Flight 5461 from Denver and Flight 5528 to Denver on November 11;

United Airlines Flights 4795 from Denver and 5906 to Denver on November 12.

The airport said no other cancellations have been reported at this time but added that more schedule changes are possible in the coming days.
