A Sweet Lesson in Entrepreneurship

Hosted by the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce, Lemonade Day is a fun program that teaches kids about entrepreneurship and running their own business.

Studies show that today's kids are eager to explore entrepreneurship, with a significant percentage more interested in starting their own business than climbing the corporate ladder.

New Format Continues After Last Year’s Success

Last year's switch to a Junior Market at the Raymond Center was such a hit they're  doing it again this year instead of spreading out lemonade stands around town.

More Than Just Lemonade

Similar to a vendor show, all youth entrepreneurs will be selling their goods and services. The day will be filled with vendors selling all kinds of wares such as magic shows, (temporary) tattoo sleeves, cotton candy, and of course, lemonade.

Business Skills in Action

Many kids prepped for this weekend by enrolling in Lemon University, where they learned about business planning, financial literacy, communication, and marketing.

LOOK: Iconic products released the year you were born

American history can often be remembered through our consumer habits. That's why Stacker ranked the iconic products released from the year you were born, starting in 1919. From Slurpees to iPods, this list is a pop culture-infused trip down memory lane.
