Greetings radio family, it’s your girl Mad Max. I hope you had a nice weekend. In addition to dog sitting, I was able to squeeze in a few community events.

Saturday Morning: A Stroll Through Main Street Market

Saturday started with a morning stop downtown at the Main Street Market. I didn't buy anything this week, but ran into some friends, enjoyed tunes from local musician Tuesday X, and couldn't resist adding my mark to the sidewalk chalk art.

Afternoon Fun: Roots and Wings Festival at Spring Lake Park

In the afternoon I went to Spring Lake Park for the 1st Annual Roots and Wings Festival. The park was full of people! The kiddos were having a blast with the interactive exhibits, and everyone (myself included) enjoyed free ice cream from Suzie Q's Ice Cream truck.

Sunday Matinee: Superman on the Big Screen

Sunday, I met up with my friend Steve to check out a matinee of the new Superman movie. We were split on our opinions Steve liked it more than I did. I thought it was funny and I liked David Corenswet as Superman. I felt it was too long (2 h 10 min), the script was uneven, and I didn't like the CGI dog - wish they had used a real dog to play Krypto.

Until Next Time

Thanks for looking at my photos. Until next time.
