Hey there radio family! I Had a blast this weekend at the 38th Annual Williston Sport and Rec Show at the Raymond Family Community Center.

Friday kicked off with a live broadcast from 4-6 PM, then I hit up the selfie stations—I managed to snap pics at three out of five.

Saturday was all about the Townsquare Media booth at the Sport and Rec Show. Cousin Earl and I were chatting with visitors, getting them registered to win the Traeger Timberline grill, courtesy of Horizon Resources. The kiddos were winning candy all weekend long, and let’s just say, some of them left very hyped up on sugar.

Meanwhile, Cousin Earl and I had some fun at one of the selfie stations—though, he looked a little terrified, and I’m pretty sure it was the kind of fear only a female driver can inspire. (His words, not mine!)

Saturday night, I hit the road with Rochelle, Tina, and Calvin for the Cee-Lo Green concert in New Town at Four Bears Event Center. We met up with my Minot friend, Tracy, and had a total blast—so much dancing! You might remember Cee-Lo from The Voice, and his live energy? Just as wild.

The best part? Being in the front row when Cee-Lo asked for volunteers to sing Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.” Tracy went all in, waving her arms and yelling, “Over here!” The crew came over with the mic, but then she pointed at me and said, “Not me, HER!” Talk about getting thrown into the spotlight. Check out the video.

Sunday wrapped up with another great day at the radio booth at the Sport & Rec Show. The big moment? Kurstin Thompson won the grill!

And I finally treated myself to mini-donuts covered in cinnamon sugar—the perfect sweet ending to an epic weekend.
