Get Ready for the 2025 North Dakota Senior Games 

The North Dakota Senior Games are an opportunity to compete, meet people, and have fun, regardless of your level of experience. Participants from across the state come together for friendly competition, open to adults 50 years of age and over. 

History of the National Senior Games 

Originally known as the National Senior Olympics Organization, the National Senior Games began in 1985 in St. Louis, MO as a way to promote healthy lifestyles for adults through education, fitness, and sport. 

About the National Senior Games Association (NSGA) 

Today, the NSGA is a non-profit dedicated to encouraging adults aged 50 and over to stay active and healthy. It organizes a 19-sport, biennial competition. The largest multi-sport event in the world for seniors.

North Dakota Senior Games: August 13–15 

This year’s North Dakota Senior Games take place August 13–15 in Fargo and West Fargo. The event welcomes athletes 50+ to compete in a variety of sports and activities.

  • Bean Bags/Cornhole (Doubles) 
  • Bowling (Singles) 
  • Golf (Singles) 
  • Pickleball (Doubles and Mixed Doubles) 
  • Swimming (multiple events) 
  • Track and Field (multiple events) 
  • Table Tennis (Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles) 
  • Power Walk 
  • 5K Road Race 
  • Fitness Challenge 

Registration Details 

  • Cost: $40 for the first event, plus $5 for each additional event 
  • Deadline: Registration closes Friday, August 1
