Ever wonder what a month looks like for the Williston Police Department? Well, the WPD has just released its "February By The Numbers" report, giving a breakdown of calls, arrests, and traffic stops to give the community a better look at what’s happening in town.

A Busy Month for Officers

February may be the shortest month, but that didn’t slow down the Williston Police Department. In February, WPD officers responded to 2,513 calls for service.

Out of those, 441 were initiated by officers, while the remaining 2,072 were calls from citizens. It’s a reminder of how engaged the community is in working with law enforcement.

Keeping Roads Safe

Crime & Arrests

There were 134 arrests throughout the month:

  • 32 felonies
  • 95 misdemeanors

  • 2 other

The most common charges? Driving Under Suspension (34) and Driving Under the Influence (20). There were also 12 arrests related to domestic violence, showing the department's efforts in tackling serious issues affecting the community.
