Food Truck Rodeo
The 2025 Food Truck Rodeo is June 6-8. Featuring a variety of food trucks offering flavors from across the region. $3 admission; kids 10 and under are free. Friday & Saturday from 11:00am to 9:00pm, and Sunday from 12:00pm to 6:00pm.
Baseball Tournament
Watch the 5th Annual Doug Johnsrud Baseball Invitational Tournament at RRC baseball field from June 5-8. Featuring: Watford City Walleye - Froid, MT Bulls - Bottineau, ND Post 42 - Burlington, ND Bulldogs - Ray, ND Post 9 Jays - Casper, WY Valor Vikings, Bismarck, ND Americans, Williston, ND Oilers.
Touch-A-Truck
Don’t miss the Touch-A-Truck event on Friday, June 6 at the Rough Rider Center from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. (Quiet hour from 1:00pm to 2:00pm) This free event lets kids and adults climb, sit in, and honk the horns of trucks and large vehicles.

Local Theater
McKenzie County Community Theater is putting on their first full-length production: The Miss Firecracker Contest. Performances are Friday at 6:00pm and Saturday at 2:00pm and 6:00pm. at the Watford City High School Theater. It’s $10 to enter.
Kids Fishing Derby
The 21st Annual Children's Free Fishing Derby is at Kent Pelton Nature Pond for ages 13 and under. Pre-registration encouraged to guarantee a spot, call 701-842-3665. Session 1 from 9:00am-10:30am, Session 2 from 11:00am-12:30pm.
Limit of 90 kids per session.
Saturday Evening Live Music
As the day winds down on Saturday, enjoy live music from Wedge, a high energy cover band playing from 9:00pm to 11:00pm at the American Legion: Glenn Wahus Memorial Baseball Field. No Admission.
