Apparently There Was A Moose LOOSE In Bismarck Today
Here is the info I came across on this late Thursday afternoon...
...somewhere in Bismarck a MOOSE was on the loose. I was forwarded this breaking story from a co-worker - she saw it on the Bismarck People Reporting News Facebook Page. Our radio station is a decent-sized building - with a cluster of 5 radio stations all in a row - here on the strip in Mandan.- At first, I called DIBS on this story, but I didn't have a whole of information, and that's when My Facebook messenger work group lit up with a sea of comments about this errant, LOST? moose - Enjoy

"DID YOU KNOW?? Moose are one of the meanest?? So besides the jokes about "don't pet the fluffy cows aka bison"... Don't freak'n go near a moose!! I've personally turned my horse around when hunting just to not cross paths with a "known" moose. Very Mean... Better eaten as chocolate mousse..".

"Did you know I did the most cringeworthy thing as a parent ever with a moose. Before knowing they are dangerous animals I sent my 8,9 year old son out of my truck to take a picture of a cow moose next to the interstate near Grand Forks. There was the 4 feet interstate fence separating them but the moose let him walk right up to him and take a pic. I still cringe over it today. Why I will never win a Father of the year award."

"Thank goodness that turned out okay... Ya - Bromo... People seriously otherwise DO NOT know how dangerous moose are. I report on them for my outdoor show all the time as hikers cross paths and aren't so lucky."
