Is This Popular Bismarck Restaurant Expanding?

We all remember waking up and either reading the story or hearing about it at work

Bismarck's beloved The Little Cottage Cafe announced it was closing its doors for the very last time - this was back on October 1st. For over 29 years, this warm place provided excellent service and shared smiles and love to all of Bismarck and Mandan customers ( a true family to so many  )

The place has been sitting empty and lonely ever since

So here is what I have been seeing on social media lately - these aren't rumors, but merely people speculating about the possibility of another popular Bismarck restaurant right next door to The Little Cottage Cafe, Bismarck's Big Boy.  Since 1954, Big Boy has been standing tall ( YES, even Big Boy himself ) - driving past this place ( 2511  E Main Ave ) when they are busy, you can clearly see that their drive-thru service can be dangerous, as traffic filters out onto the street. What if there was a simple solution to that?

Getting back to what I said earlier - speculating

I don't think there is anything wrong at all about speculating, and there are some good ideas brought up. Here is one I came across on the Bismarck People Reporting News Facebook Page:

"...if big boys takes over the little cottage and builds an enclosed walkway from big boys to the little cottage building it would give big boys a sitting area where people can sit down order and eat big boy food and big boys can keep their drive thru..."

We shall all see what happens with the Little Cottage Cafe building and IF Big Boy takes advantage of adding extra space.
