Look, I'm not into gossip, I TRY to keep my nose to my own business ( did that make any sense at all? ) - however, I do enjoy reading about our community, and FROM the people themselves. Anything going on in Bismarck and Mandan, this Facebook group page will no doubt have all the scoop, and I think that's cool.

I have noticed throughout the years I have lived in Bismarck ( over 5 years now ) that most people aren't shy about posting their thoughts and comments on the Bismarck People Reporting News Group Facebook page, although many people choose to be anonymous, and I think that's fine. Like any open page to the public, there are bullies that seem to get their kicks by being negative, some of them spewing out hate - the good news is that the mediators of this FB group page will quickly bounce them off.

In my opinion, this outlet should be a place for Bismarck and Mandan residents to speak their minds

That is clearly done and obvious - when we had that huge storm roll in a couple of weeks ago, people stayed on top of what was going on through this group - there were amazing pictures posted from all over North Dakota. Some people post about a local event coming up, some actually reach out and ask questions about "Where is the best place to go to get your car looked at?" - that's just a small example of what you'll find on Bismarck People Reporting News. I think it's great, please, for those who insist on picking on other people, grow up!
