Weird, that I drove by this place for months before I finally pulled into this small complex lot - 10215 Washington Street. You could tell the second you walked through their doors how much fun this place is - Battle Bunker Game Store. 

His name is Andre Louw, and he is from South Africa 

I admire anyone who can bring their passion and pass it on to others - I asked Andre how he got started:

"Back in 2015, I went Pokemon Go hunting and stumbled upon a game store in Cape town south Africa. It was a demo day for Magic The Gathering(MTG) and so I joined in for the event and fell in love with MTG instantly. When I moved to Dickinson in 2017, there was a game store that unfortunately closed in 2018, and seeing how wonderful the community was and how much they missed it I decided to open a Battle Bunker in Dickinson, but unfortunately got delayed due to COVID in 2020"

How long have you been in Bismarck?

"In 2023 I opened the Battle Bunker Game store in Dickinson and due to high demand opened a Second Store in Bismarck in January of 2026 We offer a vast collection of Board games and Card Games Pokemon,Magic the Gathering ,Yugioh,One Piece,Gundam and more We have Table top Miniature games like Warhammer 40K and Battle Tech We have Dungeons and Dragons and other Table Top Role Playing Game Accessories as well We have a dedicated D&D Room / Video Game Room that can be used for Birthday Parties as well We run Weekly events for everything we carry Mon – Sun Our Event Calander is Available on our facebook page where it shows all our weekly and monthly events"
