So this is the hook - what do other people think of vacation spots in North Dakota?

We all find ourselves curious about what other people think - it's human nature. So if you are anticipating taking a vacation this summer, it's nice to hear some reviews before you head out there, and Google is an excellent source. I've been out here in ND now for over 11 years, and the number ONE place I hear talked about constantly is..

Theodore Roosevelt National Park (Medora)

A HUGE park with stunning views, and trails for you to relax on and marvel at the beauty of all the wildlife.

Simply out "WOW" - that's all I have heard and read about the stunning views, the magical entertainment ( musicals ), quaint shops, and Bully Pulpit - one of the most amazing golf courses in the country.

Enchanted Highway, ND

Plan on being amazed on this drive. According to ndtourism.com "The Enchanted Highway begins at Exit 72 on I-94 near Gladstone and terminates 32 miles down the road in the small town of Regent. Beginning with "Geese in Flight" at Exit 72, large metal sculptures are placed along the county highway, each with parking a area and kiosk except "Geese in Flight," which is viewable from adjacent interstate"

Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park (Mandan)

No doubt one of the most peaceful, relaxing spots you'll find anywhere  - all kinds of trails to walk on, camping, and embrace the history of this place.

Fargo

This is one town I am familiar with - I lived in Fargo for a year, and this is a perfect place to get away for a weekend or even longer. Amazing places to eat downtown and just feel the energy on the streets.

Scandinavian Heritage Park (Minot)

This is just flat-out a charming town - the North Dakota State Fair every summer has some of the best entertainment anywhere - Minot is "North Dakota Nice"

All of the 6 spots I mentioned above are something you and your family need to visit - you owe yourself that
