Funny, I was just talking to our engineer this morning about this

I'm sure this is a tradition with most people in Bismarck and Mandan - here we are with the weather turning warmer ( hello 60's - towards the middle of this week we will be in the 60s! ) - glancing off to our right, I said to Randy "Hey I'll bet you Riverwood Golf Course will be opening soon"

Well, it turns out I was one-third right with my statement

This Thursday,  April 10th, there are three golf courses opening up to the public - time for you to drag your clubs out of the garage, and dust them off - practice your putting in the living room!

"Bismarck Parks and Recreation District (BPRD) will open its three golf courses on Thursday, April,10, at noon"

This press release from earlier today spells great news for golfers and hackers everywhere:

...Tee times at Pebble Creek Golf Course, Riverwood Golf Course, and Tom O’Leary Golf Course may be reserved online starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8. Throughout the season, tee times may be booked three days in advance. Golfers are encouraged to purchase season passes before opening day. Season passes may be purchased online or in person, along with green fee packages, at

: • Pebble Creek Golf Course/Fore Seasons Center, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily • Riverwood Golf Course and Tom O’Leary Golf Course, 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily • BPRD office, 400 E. Front Ave., 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday"
