Who doesn't love a beer while you watch football, or a mixed drink on an outdoor patio? Going to the bar is a way we treat ourselves. It's a way to cut loose and be social.

That said, there are some things you really want to avoid doing at a North Dakota bar.

Here's a list of things you should never do at a bar in ND.

1. Forget To Tab Out

I'm going to be perfectly honest; I've done this. There are some places that hold your card until you tab out, just to prevent this from happening.

The really bad thing you might not consider when you do this is the severs and bartenders lose out on a tip. Next time you go out, don't forget to go up to the bar and take care of business.

2. Leave Your Belongings

This is another thing I absolutely have done. Not too long ago, I left my wallet and sunglasses at the bar. Luckily North Dakotans are pretty nice, so someone did turn it in. That said, you definitely don't want to chance it. Do a phone, keys, wallet check before you Uber home.

3. Going Crazy With PDA

If you're old enough to go to a bar, you're old enough to know that getting hot and heavy at a bar is not a good look. If you do that, I am absolutely watching.

4. Fight At A Bar

Obviously you don't want to get into a fist fight, but that's not what I'm talking about. I was at a bar not too long ago and overheard a couple arguing their faces off. Was I listening to all the juicy details and comebacks? Yes and duh.

That's It

Those are the big things, or rather, first things that come to mind, but I'm sure there are many more we can add to this list.
