According to a post made on Instagram by thefreebieguy, Scooter's Coffee is giving away free rubber ducks tomorrow (July 15th). To be sure our Bismarck Scooter's Coffee location was doing this, I called the store and confirmed that it indeed is happening. Starting after 11am, the first 100 guests who buy a large or XL drink will score an adorable collectible duck.
Now, the rare red bucket hat duck is the one you're really hunting for. Only a limited number of those will be hidden among the regular ducks, and because it comes with a secret promo code that is worth 400 bonus smiles in the Scooter's Coffee app.
For Jeep people reading this, you already know all about the duck thing. For everyone else: the Jeep owners community has this really cute trend where they collect rubber ducks for their dashboards, and leave ducks on each other's cars as a sort of random act of kindness.
