The Fargo VA Healthcare System is building a new, much larger clinic in Bismarck at 1610 Uptown Lane, behind Wing City, right next to the Missouri Valley Dental office. The new clinic will be replacing the existing veterans' clinic in the Gateway Mall and will be three times its size.

Care Services Getting An Upgrade

The veterans clinic has operated out of the Gateway Mall since 2003, helping treat the thousands of brave North Dakotans who have served our country. Here in Bismarck, the space in which they receive medical treatment and care is about to get a massive upgrade.

According to KFYR TV, the new facility will add imaging, ultrasound, audiology, physical therapy, and expand its mental health care services, and will act as a referral site to help cut down on the number of trips veterans are making to Fargo for specialized care. This expansion is also expected to create about 44 more jobs in the area.

Construction is planned to start soon, and they are looking at an opening date in July of  2027. Keep checking back with us for more updates on the project.
