According to Valley News Live, a couple of weeks ago (May 18th) the city of Fargo issued a building permit for the new Target location. Reports about this project first came to light in February, when 10 acres of land were purchased at I-29 and 52nd Ave.

The source says the project is estimated to cost $21.8 million, will be approximately 133,780 square feet, and will include a sales floor, stock and mechanical areas, an optical shop, and, of course, a Target wouldn't be complete without a Starbucks.

The store's future address is listed as 4900 Alexander Dr. South. As of right now, there is no set opening date. Check back for updates on construction progress and grand opening dates.
