Every year, Dairy Queen restaurants across the state give spring a sweet start by offering customers a free small vanilla cone.  Here's what you need to know about free cone day this year.

North Dakota soft-serve superfans, mark this date on your calendars, according to DairyQueen.com, free cone day is set to take place on Thursday, March 19th. The giveaway runs all day while supplies last (one cone per person). There's no purchase necessary.

Keep in mind that some Dairy Queen mall locations may require a purchase to receive your free cone. Non-mall locations do not require this. The deal excludes delivery and mobile orders.
