The #1 Most Popular Slang Term In North Dakota For 2026
Young North Dakotans have their own language. It seems like they come up with a new slang term every other week, and it's hard for us "old people" to keep up. Many parents have to Google these terms so we know what our kids mean and whether we're getting roasted.
What's The #1 Most Popular Slang Term In North Dakota For 2026?
A report just came out for 2026, showing which slang term is most popular in North Dakota for 2026 by looking at Google Search data. So, what's the most popular slang word this year? Well, it looks like 6-7 is still the reigning champ, and it doesn't even mean anything, which makes it even more confusing. It's pure brain rot internet humor. Apparently it originates from the Skrilla song, "(6 7)." The song references basketball player LaMelo Ball and his height of 6 feet 7 inches.
What Are The Other Top Slang Words In North Dakota For 2026?
Let's look at the complete list of popular slang words for the year.
- 6-7
- Chud - mean troll or jerk
- Laurping - synonym to poser or fraud
- Unc - short for uncle, but used in a funny way to describe anyone old, or out of touch
- Chopped - something ugly, or unattractive. Looking very rough
- Torta - a way to describe an overweight, chubby woman.
- Mogging - Outclassing someone by appearing more attractive or more successful
- Foid - this is short for "Femoid" which is a combination of female and humanoid. It's a way to insult women and refer to them as objects.
- Bogart - hog something
- Gooning - to be overly obsessed with something
Keep in mind some of these terms are derogatory, and shouldn't be used, or should be used with extreme caution.
Which of these terms did you already know? I'm pretty proud of myself; I knew "Mogging" and "Chopped." It's odd Bogart is on the list, because that's a pretty old term. Some of the others are just head-scratchers. Hit us up in the app and tell us which ones you knew, and which ones your kids used that aren't listed here.
