Update: Mandan’s Raging Rivers About To Open For 2025 Season
It has been incredibly hot over the past couple of days. If you're like me, everything hurst because you've already gotten yourself a nice little sunburn. What's the best way to cool off this summer? Of course, it's hopping in some cool water.
You could hit up a North Dakota lake or the Missouri River, but if you don't have a boat or want something a little more family-friendly, here's another idea.
Raging Rivers
If you want to go somewhere right here in town, where the whole family can spend the day, Raging Rivers is always a great spot to go.
I'm an adult with no kids, and I still like to go and float down the lazy river.
If you're itching to do that or really want to hit up the slides or the splash pad, you will be excited to hear that the waterpark is about to open for the season.
Raging Rivers announced weeks ago that they would be opening for the season soon. Soon is right! Get ready to head over to Mandan right after Memorial Day weekend. According to MandanParks.com, the waterpark's first day of the season is May 29th.
Dig your old swimsuit out of storage, or find a new one at the store asap, with it being in the 90s lately, you're going to want to get over there to cool off. Whatever you do, make sure you wear sunscreen!
