HGTV has come out with a list of the best small towns to visit for Christmas in each state.

I know, it's only the end of July, but the way summer has been flying by, it won't be long and Christmas items will be in stores (if they're not already).

HGTV decided to identify North Dakota's best of the best when it comes to the spirit of Christmas. If you have never visited this North Dakota town during the Christmas season, you really should sometime.

According to HGTV, Medora offers a truly unique holiday experience with a Wild West spirit. The article raves about how the city lights up for the holidays with its lights and decorations.

It also mentions the holiday-themed productions you can take in at the Old Town Theater, and opportunities for incredible wildlife viewing, such as wild horses and bison at the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in the snow.
