I thought it was important to keep you abreast of a situation concerning a new flavor of ice cream coming to North Dakota.

If you were a bottle baby, this particular flavor might be especially enticing. Oh baby, baby baby! I could have fun with this all day long.

According to an article on USA Today, there's a company that is ready to sell you breast milk ice cream, and they are going nationwide with it.

I'm pretty sure you haven't had this flavor since you were a baby. wink wink. Okay, I'll stop it.

Here's what the fuss is all about.

Introducing Frida & OddFellows' breast milk ice cream. It's described as "sweet, a little salty, smooth, with a hint of honey" (doesn't sound all that bad).

Let's address what everybody is thinking right away. Is this ice cream made with real breast milk? I mean, do they have breastfeeding mothers all over the country pumping their way to a lucrative side hustle?

The answer is NO! However, the ingredients in this flavor of ice cream are supposed to mimic a mother's milk.

How can you purchase breast milk ice cream in North Dakota?

As of right now, it's only available in North Dakota by purchasing this online. It must be pretty popular, because I just checked, and the flavor is currently sold out. It does say they will be releasing additional pints of ice cream daily, so you should check back.

You should probably latch on quickly, because this might be a limited run of breast milk ice cream.

It appears this company will be taking orders on their website, now through August 10th, and orders will ship out shortly after that.

How much will this ice cream set you back?

A pint will cost you $12.99 plus shipping. Not cheap, but no sense crying over spilled milk.

If you are wondering how in the world they can keep this breast milk ice cream frozen during shipping, it will be shipped 2-day air with dry ice.

I've never had a bowl of ice cream that I haven't really liked before. I would try anything once, including breast milk ice cream. How about you? Weird or wonderful?
