If you are like me (a creature of habit), knowing when your favorite stores are going to be closed can be beneficial.

I tend to shop at the same hardware stores, the same retail stores, and the same grocery stores. Do you get the picture?

In my life, I'm always busy and on the go. There is nothing worse than making a grocery run and showing up at the store, only to find out they are CLOSED.

One of North Dakota's beloved holidays is right around the corner. Memorial Day.

It's the unofficial start of summer in the northern Great Plains. It's when we open up our cabins, head to the river for some sandbar fun, or invite the relatives over for a backyard get-together.

No matter what you have planned this Memorial Day weekend in North Dakota, a barbecue will likely be a part of it.

One of Bismarck's most popular spots to get groceries is none other than Costco. Nothing better than being able to buy your favorite BBQ items in bulk, right?

Costco announced earlier this year that they will be closed on Memorial Day, across North Dakota, and the rest of the country, for that matter, so that employees can enjoy the holiday with family and friends.

I support this move 100%, as I have always felt bad for retailers who make their employees work on holidays, instead of being at home with loved ones.

No doubt, Costco is one of the most popular retailers in the country, with over 600 stores across America.

We only have TWO Costcos in the state of North Dakota.

West Fargo - Located at 750 23rd Avenue East.

Bismarck - Located at 1325 57th Avenue Northeast.

So, plan accordingly if you will be relying on Costco for your Memorial Day barbecue. You will need to buy before the holiday.
