Walmart just announced a big change at each of its stores and said customer and employee feedback was the reason the decision to make it permanent was made.

Big Change Made For More Inclusive Shopping at Minnesota Walmarts
The retail giant posted this message online when announced a big change to the shopping experience, "The feedback of the pilot program was overwhelmingly positive. These changes may have seemed small to some, but for others they transformed the shopping experience."
The initiative actually began with sensory-friendly shopping during the back-to-school season, and due to overwhelmingly positive feedback, the company is now implementing permanent dedicated shopping hours.
Walmart says, "During these hours, we hope our customers and associates will find the stores to be a little easier on the eyes and ears." TVs will show a static image, music will be turned off, and lights will be dimmed during this time.
All customers can now enjoy sensory-friendly shopping hours from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. every day at all Walmart stores.
