KX News reported that J.C. Penney has announced the closing 138 stores nationwide - including three in North Dakota.
The one in Kirkwood is NOT one of them. That one stays open. For now.

The three that are closing are in Dickinson, Jamestown and Wahpeton.

The company says the closings will save it $200 million per year. Liquidation sales will start next month and the stores will close in June.
