Mall of America Wants More North Dakotan Visitors and Their Money in Minnesota
The oil field money from North Dakota is looking appealing to Minnesota and The Mall of America.
According to statistics, about 40% of the 40 million annual visitors to the Mall of America are from North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and the rest of the upper Midwest, according to the Bismarck Tribune.
According to Dan Jasper, Public Relations of MAO-
“There are a lot of North Dakota fans of the Vikings,” Jasper said. “When NDSU comes we see a lot of North Dakota folks ... We know the Twin Cities are a destination for North Dakotans.”
The idea for the YouTube commercial came from a guest services employee who had encountered family of an oil worker taking a long weekend there.
How often do you take your North Dakotan dollars to Minnesota, for a game or vacation?
