How much do you have to make to be in the Top 1% of North Dakotans?

In the words of Ariana Grande, "Whoever said money can't solve your problems must not have had enough money to solve 'em." Yeah, it would be insane to be among the few elites, living on Easy Street. As the majority of us peasants dream of what it would be like to have no financial woes, there are a select few who are really living the American dream of success and wealth - even right here in North Dakota! Just how much money does it take to be among the top in class in North Dakota?

How much do you have to make to be in the Top 1% of North Dakotans?

In order to be considered part of the top 1% in North Dakota, you have to make middle-range six figures. According to research by SmartAssetthe income threshold for the top 1% in North Dakota is $540,837. It would be really cool to figure out what the one-percenters do to rake in that kind of cash. But the top 10 earning jobs in the state make nowhere near that kind of money!

Last year, Zippia put out a list of the highest-paying jobs in North Dakota. The top earners in the state are some sort of owner/operator, raking in $186,529 per year. While making six figures, in general, would be awesome, our state's top earners make nowhere near the amount of money those in the top 1% make.

What would you do with your money if you were in the top 1% of earners in North Dakota?
