
Motorcycle Crash Claims One Life Over The Weekend
The warmer weather means motorcycle enthusiast are out in full force enjoying the riding season.
With the extra bikes on the road comes the hazard of the motorist getting used to seeing the cycles.
KFYR-TV is reporting one fatality from a motorcycle accident in Bottineau County Sunday afternoon.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the 64-year-old female rider hit the back of another motorcycle while out riding.
The female fatality was riding an Indian motorcycle, and the other rider was on a Harley and both were traveling northbound out of Bottineau.
The female rider on the Harley sustained injuries also in the crash.
Both riders were taken to a hospital where the 64-year-old rider was pronounced dead.
Both riders were wearing helmets and the crash is under investigation.
