North Dakota Man Sentenced To Six Years In Prison

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota man has been sentenced to nearly six years in prison for having sex with a woman who was sleeping.

Twenty-five-year-old Nodin Azure, of Belcourt, pleaded guilty in January to a federal charge of sexual abuse.

The incident happened in May 2011. Authorities say the victim eventually pushed Azure off of her and drove to the hospital.

U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland sentenced Azure to five years and 10 months in prison.
