North Dakotans’ Savings Accounts are Loaded
In this day and age, it's not uncommon to live paycheck to paycheck and many people barely have any money in savings if any at all.
In fact, a study released today from GoBankingRates says that well over half of Americans, 57% to be exact, have less than $1,000 in savings.
The survey reveals that nearly half of residents in Washington D.C., Massachusetts, Hawaii, Wyoming and New Mexico actually have $0 in savings.
But that there's plenty of Americans who do have some savings. And in North Dakota, our residents are apparently really good at saving.
The survey showed that 34% of North Dakotans have at least $10,000 in savings. Only residents in Washington state (35%) and Kansas (38%) had a higher amount of residents with at least $10,000 in savings.
Now the next step is to protect those funds from hackers and scammers.
