The daughter of Robert Kennedy, on trial for drugged driving, has played what the New York Post calls "the Daddy card."

Post columnist Andrea Peyser reports Kerry Kennedy invoked her assassinated father while testifying in her own defense at her trial.

"I have 10 brothers and sisters," Kennedy said.  "My mother raised us because my father died when I was eight..."

"...he was killed while running for president."

Kennedy also cited her human-rights work around.

The district attorney and the judge didn't seem particularly impressed.

Kennedy is on trial for driving under the influence of Ambien.
