Save the date for another Polar Plunge coming up on Saturday, October 24th at the Pier in Bismarck.  The Pier is located at 1120 Riverwood Drive.  Registration will be at 11:00 am and the Polar Plunge will start promptly at 12:30 pm.

You can register online at www.specialolympicsnd.org and this is a benefit of course for the North Dakota Special Olympics.  This fundraiser is organized by the Special Olympics North Dakota and helps build public awareness, raise funds and to further the Special Olympics mission.  "To provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for Children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community."

This fundraiser is open to friends, family, and the community. In order to take the plunge into the freezing waters, participants must collect pledges from friends, coworkers, your dog walker, your family, and whoever else you may know.  Plungers raise a minimum of $75 for the opportunity to take the plunge.  Have FUN! - form a team, create a fun name and crazy costumes with friends, co-workers, or classmates.  No matter what, the Polar Plunge is all about Fun!   If you raise $75 dollars you'll receive a plunge shirt.  $250 dollars you'll score a plunge shirt and hat.  $500 dollars a plunge shirt and towel.  If you raise $1,000 you will receive a plunge shirt and sweatshirt.  For more information please contact For more information, please contact:
