Sex: Longest, Shortest, where ND Ranks

OK, we're talking about duration here, so stop giggling...

Specifically: which states have the longest - and shortest - average duration of lovemaking?  And where does North Dakota stand?

Well get to that in a moment.  First, the, ah, big picture...

The sex map is a joint effort by Nerve.com and Spreadsheets, a sex activity app that monitors movement and audio levels to calculate out the average sex duration for each state.

New Mexico(?) comes in first at an average of seven minutes, followed by West Virginia and Idaho.

Dead last is Alaska at 1:21.  South Dakota is second from the bottom.

And North Dakota...at 3:18, the Peace Garden State comes in at number 14.

We'll leave it to you to come up with your own punchlines...
