Spooked horses and extensive clean up costs have prompted the Mandan Rodeo Committee to request a ban of all private fireworks at Dacotah Centennial Park.

The weather cooperated and the sun worshippers turn out in the thousands to line up on Main Street in Mandan for the annual parade.
