BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's Sportsmen Against Hunger program is once again accepting goose meat donations during the early Canada goose hunting season.
Children 16 and under are invited to join Ducks Unlimited for a free youth waterfowl hunting clinic on Friday, Aug. 16, at 8:30 a.m. This is the sixth year for the event, and children who have been waterfowl hunting are encouraged to bring a friend who has not.
The projected number of deer gun licenses available for this coming season could be 5,800 fewer than last season, making it the lowest number available in thirty-one years.
Fees for hunting, fishing and boat registration are going up, for residents and non-residents alike.
The State Senate Thursday passed SB2231 by a 39-6 margin, concurring with a House vote Monday approving the measure 77-15.
