A Tappen angler recently landed a carp that set a North Dakota record.
It's how he caught it that may astonish you.
Game and Fish says Derek Barnick took a 31lb. 9oz. common carp from Lake Etta-Alkaline with a bow and arrow on April 21.
The 36" fish broke the record of 31lbs. set in 2003.
