Townsquare Media Accepts Award From United Way
The Missouri Slope Area United Way had the Annual Luncheon and Meeting Friday, January 27th, at the Bismarck Ramkota Hotel.
The luncheon is an annual event to update the community on the progress from the previous year. And what a year 2016 was for the MSAUA. With the support of the community, MSA United Way raise a record breaking amount of $2.616 million. The money raised by the MSAUA will support 33 partner agencies and 56 programs this year.
The gathering is also a chance to recognize individuals, volunteers and businesses that support the agency throughout the year.
Townsquare Media was pleased to accept an award for their work with the agency including events such as the 96 Hours of Caring, KLXX-AM Supertalk 1270, and Jim Walsh hosting the United Way bi-monthly show and for the commercials and production for the agency. Though Townsqaure Media was pleased to accept the award, we share this award with you, our listeners for your continued support of the annual events such as 96 Hours of Caring, The Backpack Food Program and other events TSM is proud to support and be active in.
