It's been an insane 24 hours for UND's Brock Boeser.

Less than 24 hours after a crazy heartbreaking marathon that saw UND fall to Boston U., 4-3 in an exhausting double overtime NCAA Tournament game, Brock Boeser not only signed with the Vancouver Canucks, but played and scored a goal in their 4-2 win against the Minnesota Wild.

The 20-year old Boeser from Burnsville, MN was originally drafted by the Canucks in 2015 as the 23rd overall pick in the first round. Yesterday, he tallied an assist in a hard-hitting game full of physical and mental exhaustion that lasted nearly five hours. Today, he signed his contract with the Canucks, and played a total time of 12 minutes and 44 seconds, scoring a goal on four shots, and was credited with three hits in his NHL debut, as he helped Vancouver score a road victory over the Wild.

Boeser scores his first NHL goal in the video below.

For the college season, Boeser played in 33 games, scoring 16 goals with 19 assists for a total of 35 points, which was tied for second on the Fighting Hawks overall.

Congrats to Brock Boeser on his signing with the Vancouver Canucks and his first career NHL goal!
