A Bismarck church is putting on an event to raise money and awareness for victims of human trafficking. According to a recent Facebook post, Evangel Church is putting on a Freedom Walk this Saturday, October 17. What is the reason for the Freedom Walk? To fight human trafficking (both sexual exploitation and forced labor).

WHEN: Saturday, October 17
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

WHERE: North Dakota State Capitol Lawn
600 E Boulevard Ave, Bismarck

*Kids 10-years-old and younger do not need to register. 


This Freedom Walk will be done in honor of human trafficking victims. And it is definitely going to be an experience to participate in this particular walk. According to the Evangel's website for the Freedom Walk, participants in the walk will have an interactive experience with stories of survivors, information about how trafficking exists, and how to make a difference in our communities." Make sure you bring a smart device and earbuds, because the walk features audio elements along the course.
