Your Nanny State In Action: Rear-View Ornaments Illegal?

Fuzzy dice?  No dice.  Plastic Jesus?  God, no.

As it turns out (and I just found this out over the weekend), rear-view mirror ornaments and most dashboard embellishments are illegal in Minnesota.

Seriously?

Seriously.

I don't know if North Dakota has such a law; I haven't found anything to that effect on the web (check out p. 7 here).

I can tell you that in North Dakota it is apparently against the law to serve beer and pretzels at the same time, and to take a nap with your shoes on.
