Well, if the government wants more flying unmanned death and surveillance machines, there oughtta be something in it for us...

Or apparently that's what our lieutenant governor thinks.

Lt. Gov Drew Wrigley says we are "at the front of the line" in the unmanned aircraft systems industry and should be designated as a national test site. 

Am I the only one who finds this kinda creepy?

Sadly (and I hope I'm wrong about this - God knows it wouldn't be the first time), I suspect there will be very little talk about this.  if I have learned anything about my adopted home state, it's that folks (well, a lot of 'em) seem to really go for the hunky-dory in these parts: "We can profit from the government's use of drones to watch over and kill people?  Well, that's just okeydokey with me..."

Please, North Dakota...prove me wrong on this.
