VERY COLD- WIND CHILL ADVISORY- COLDER THIS WEEKEND for Bismarck and SW North Dakota
For the third night in a row- the Bismarck-Mandan area will have a WIND CHILL ADVISORY until 10AM Thursday. Wednesday night, wind chill values will be from minus 20 to minus 30 degrees below zero.
According to the National Weather Service a wind chill advisory means the combination of wind and very cold arctic air will create dangerous wind chill values that can lead to hypothermia if the necessary precautions are not taken to exposed skin.
The area is not expecting a warming trend until Tuesday of next week.
