There is another money scam going on in the Bismarck-Mandan area that you need to be made aware of.

According to KFYR-TV, the Burleigh County Sheriff's has released a statement warning the public of several reports of Suspicious Activity and Fraud. In other words, people trying to take your hard earned money.

The scam is people requesting money for a "summer fun run", that is reported being sponsored by the Salvation Army. The sheriff's office has confirmed that the Salvation Army is not collecting donations for a "summer fun run", and this is a scam.

The two people requesting money are described as two young males, in their late teens or early 20's. One in Caucasian and the other is black. They were driving a white 2011 Chevrolet Impala with N.D. license # 929 BWH. You need to be aware of this information, if these two come knocking on your door collecting money. This is a SCAM!
