Bismarck Bucks Hire New GM, Head Coach, and Move to IFL
The Bismarck Bucks are making some offseason moves in the front office and into a new league for the 2019 season.
The franchise is moving into the Indoor Football League, which is the second-highest tier of arena football in the country. The team made the announcement on their Facebook page.
As for the front office, Rod Miller has been hired as the new head coach of the Bucks. Miller brings 20 years of indoor coaching experience to the team. He had previously been with the Omaha Beef taking on the roles of associate head coach and defensive coordinator. Prior to his time there, he was a head coach in the China Arena Football League, along with stints as an assistant coach for teams such as the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League.
Miller replaces Paco Martinez in the head coaching role.
Heidi Ripplinger has also been named the new General Manager, as well as Director of Sponsorship Services.
