Bobcat Opens $28 Million Bismarck Center

One of Bismarck's major employers opens a new research and development facility Tuesday.

The $28 Million Acceleration Center is actually an expansion of an existing buiulding at the Northern Plains Commerce Center in Bismarck.

Bobcat President Rich Goldsbury says the company hopes the new facility will draw young engineering talent from area universities.

Many up-and-coming engineers, Goldsbury notes, are currently moving out of the state to seek opportunities in Minnesota and elsewhere.
