Burgum Asks White House For $38M To Cover DAPL ‘Law Enforcement’ Costs
Governor Burgum is asking President Trump for reimbursement of $38 million in law enforcement costs related to the protests of the Dakota Access pipeline.
ABC News reports the governor emailed Mr. Trump Saturday seeking a presidential disaster declaration to pave the way for federal aid.
White House officials didn't immediately comment on the likelihood of the president declaring a disaster.
