While it felt like a nice warm-up today in the Bismarck-Mandan region, forecasts for this weekend has more subzero temperatures and dangerous winds in store for us.

According to the National Weather Service in Bismarck, temperatures will once again take a dip below zero from Friday night through Sunday night based on the latest forecast. Dangerous wind chills are also in the forecast.

As of right now, there are no warnings and/or advisories that have been issued, but please take the necessary precautions if you should have to be outdoors for any amount of time.

As for tonight into Friday, there are chances of snow in the forecast. Snow accumulations for the Bismarck-Mandan area are expected to be around an inch or less through tomorrow.

The NWS' Hazardous Weather Outlook says snow along and to the south of I-94 may see snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches possible.

In any event, enjoy the current 'warm-up' while it lasts. It's looking like it won't be here for long.
