UPDATE: Nearly 250 more Delta flights have been canceled as of Tuesday morning.

The world's second-largest airline was completely grounded for over six hours early Monday.

CNN/Money reports Delta Air Lines flights were grounded for at least six hours by "a global computer system outage," that resulted in large-scale cancellations and the stranding of hundreds of thousands of passengers.

CNN says the glitch continues to disrupt flight schedules worldwide. Officials advise to check ahead if you plan to do any flying in the next few days.
